About Sofi Mkheyan
Sofi Mkheyan is an Armenian singer who was born on April 8, 1984 in Yerevan. She studied piano at the Sayat-Nova Music School and later continued her musical education at the Romanos Melikyan State Musical College, where she also specialized in piano. She went on to study Jazz Vocal Performance at the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan, where she also completed her master's degree.
Sofi participated in the "Do-Re-Mi" Children's and Youth Music Competition-Festival. From 2000 to 2003, she worked as a soloist at the Armenian State Song Theater. She won the Best Newcomer award at the Armenian National Music Awards in Yerevan in 2005.
Throughout her career, Sofi Mkheyan has toured extensively across the regions of Armenia and Artsakh, as well as internationally, performing in Iran, the United States, France, Italy, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Spain, the Netherlands, China, and the Russian Federation.
Today, Sofi Mkheyan continues to release new music and perform at concerts both in Armenia and internationally. She remains one of Armenia's most beloved pop artists, captivating audiences with her powerful vocals, emotional performances, and enduring passion for music.
